Service & Therapy Dogs

If you would like to have a Service or Therapy Dog trained by Spence K9, we will find a puppy that would make an ideal candidate for training, and that puppy will be trained according to your needs. While this is our recommended option, we will also train a dog you currently own for therapy or service work if it passes our temperament testing and public evaluation criteria.

Disclaimer

We do our best to choose the most promising candidates for service and therapy dogs, but as dogs grow and mature, we cannot always guarantee that a dog will work out for you. If you let us choose a puppy for you, we will guarantee a dog for you. In the event that your chosen dog ends up not working out then we will find another dog for you at no extra cost. If you choose to have your own dog trained, and that dog does not end up passing the training at some point, then we will not be able to offer another dog without additional costs.
