Sarah Spence
Certified Master Trainer

Sarah has always had a passion for animals, and knew she wanted to work with them in some capacity as an adult. She helped train all of her family's dogs growing up and was introduced to professional dog training while in college.

 

At UNCW, Sarah participated in the paws4people Service Dog Training Program and Puppy Development Internship where she learned all about dog behavior, dog health and wellbeing, handling and socializing Service Dogs, and raising/training Service Dog puppies.

After graduating, she attended Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers where she graduated the Master Trainer Program in the top of her class with honors. This program was able to further her knowledge on dog behavior and teach her valuable skills for training anything from pet dogs to Service Dogs all the way to Police K9s.

While Spence K9 regularly offers general obedience training and Service Dog training, Sarah is always up for a challenge and an opportunity to expand her dog training knowledge, so if you have training needs outside of what's typically offered, feel free to contact us to see if it may be an option!
